We did that at work last year on the IT Service Desk. It was a huge promo and was a hit with everyone. Doing it again this year too!

mobsta, you sig stealer you :P

Yeah, anyway.

woot, lan that i can actually make. Pending other bulls*** commitments (ie work)

ROFL@Talk like a pirate. I'd love to see this pulled off at my work. Considering the 'image' of our company is a serious one, it be hella funny if we were answering the fones like that "arrr, yer firewall aint workin, arrrrrh, Five Hundred people cant use the net arrh. Blasted Sea Squiddies. We fix that in a jiffy"

It's a conspiracy!

Seems a little 'convenient' that the only UT2004 comp run is on the same date as WCG! Which myself and Karade will be at and unable to attend this event.

Uhm, how many people are going to wcg that would otherwise attend actgn??
I count 24 (this excludes xbox players as they probably wouldn't go to actgn anyway)

Mroc tells me that the date was taken into consideration, ah well, can't have everything I guess. Goodluck with the tourney, hope it goes well.

fb: I bet you wouldn't :P

mroc: I'm sure you could have made an exception, maybe forced whatever team I was on to only be allowed 4 or 5 players to make up for me being on it (:

Um, dude... That's the norm. Any event that has hours different to those is not a standard event.

and most people leave long before then anyway, like between 11pm and 2am i reckon the attendance almost halves

that's pretty much correct... half the ppl trickle off before 2-3 ish...

The reason we have to finish at 7 is because "most i.e. 95%" of the time there is a church group music practice session on at 8. which means we need to have everything cleaned/packed up by then.

dude: We thought of you when discussing the UT2k3 comp and like MRoC said you're only allowed to play on the admin team SAME GOES FOR YOU MROC!!! :?)

There's a decent range of games being played. UT2004, some form of Battlefield (42 or vietnam, or mods), Far Cry ,Call Of Duty etc etc. Still some older games being played as well.

Turn out last time was good, however current rego's are small to say the least.

Still fun to be had, prizes to be given away and vomit to be walked in (well lets hope not this time :-) ).
